Have you read the book? Are there any tips that can be used with a five-year old?

In general, this book is a great reading for a parent of kids of any age. The story starts when Kiyosaki was a 9 year old kid and wanted to be rich. Having two fathers – his, educated but poor and his friend’s, rich businessman – he shows us differences in thinking and attitude towards money of both of them. He gives examples like:
Poor dad: “Study hard so you can find a good company to work for”.
Rich dad: “Study hard so you can find a good company to buy”.
Poor dad: “The reason I’m not rich is because I have you kids”.
Rich dad: “The reason I must be rich is because I have you kids”.

Co-author, Sharon Lechter, struggled to explain to her kids why they should get good marks at school and find safe and secure job – so relevant these days. She was looking for a new way of teaching kids how to become financially intelligent, how to explain how credit cards, loans, compound interest work, how to invest and save. And she found it – CASHFLOW for KIDS – a board game which Kiyosaki invented. They recommend it to kids as young as 6. Have a look here:
